I have this core group of friends and over the years we have formed a code of ethics regarding sports if you will - Speak The Truth. Or you might have heard it stated in a number of ways like, " Keep It Real", "Keep It 100" or even give it to me straight.

Simply put, we have grown weary of being fed bogus or over opinionated information by various sources that dance around issues, without sharing the real truth behind a matter or a story. This mindset was the reason behind the birth of The Reality of Sports.

This site is not based on trying to convince sports fans to agree with what is written but encourages people to think. That may require people to do some additional research or make one more click before accepting what they read, watch or hear as truth.

 We make sure you are kept in the know on various topics that takes place in sports. The Reality Of Sports covers local, regional and national news and features stories that highlight the issues that are most important to the true sports fan.

Our reporters are experienced journalists and professionals with strong ties to their local areas but are able to provide perspective from a national view when needed.
